The Bruce Ottoman is inspired by the playful concept of a layered cocktail ottoman—often imagined as stacked “cushion pancakes” upholstered in contrasting fabrics to create an iconic statement piece. Kim Scodro reinterpreted this idea with a refined sensibility, introducing solid maple feet that elevate the form and allow for custom finish options. The cushions are thoughtfully thickened to enhance structure and visual definition, ensuring each layer is clearly articulated when mixing fabrics. The result is a distinctive cocktail ottoman that balances whimsy with craftsmanship and tailored sophistication.
