The barrel-back chair that inspired the Samuel Wing Chair appeared in print as early as 1803. The Samuel Wing chair features narrow, square capped arms, a perfectly contoured back with small, shapely wings and slender tapered front posts with splayed back legs. A Spring-Down seat cushion and nail head trim are standard. NS-08 Old Brass nail head trim.
